With over three decades of diverse experience in engineering, sales, and education, I believe that true job satisfaction goes beyond the title. It's about creating a lasting impact on people's lives. This mindset guided me toward a career in coaching, where I take pride in assisting clients as they navigate their personal aspirations within a secure and encouraging environment. Beyond that, I've also ventured into entrepreneurship, enriching my perspective with insights from various professional and business realms.
I
graduated from the University of Science & Technology in Tehran
with a BSc in Computer Engineering. Before entering university, I had
developed a passion for computer programming and began taking courses
during high school. Once I entered university in early 80’s, I had
already started jobs that paid me well to convert many applications
from big mainframe computers and low-level programming languages to
simple high-level PC based languages. Throughout the following 20
years, I gradually became fond of finding applications of numeracy
and computer programming into different fields such as mechanical
engineering, civil engineering, and surveying engineering. I gained
experience working for several companies using CAD/CAM (Computer
aided design/Computers aided manufacturing) and CNC (Computer
numerically controlled) lathe and drilling machines, topographic
mapping, GIS (Geographical Information Systems), AutoCAD, calculating
transportation and excavations of soil for building dams, Asset
Management and tracking tangible assets with RFID (Radio Frequency
ID). I understand the passion and curiosity to explore many career
paths and I feel that my widespread experience has well equipped me
for a career in coaching.

Some things changed...
Once I became a mother, I learned so much more about life and developed a passion about having a lasting impact on my daughter by teaching her. That experience helped me see the world from different angles, respect perspectives, and most importantly, learn to understand that mindset is what drives us to be more passionate about learning, self awareness, transformation, progress, and achievements. Observing my daughter’s curious mind and her joy of learning encouraged me to volunteer at her early elementary school classes. Through this volunteering, I explored careers in the educational space.
Needless to say, I fell in love with teaching. After finding this newfound passion, I started my business as the owner of an educational franchise for about 15 years. Through our program, young learners learned to achieve their short term and long tern goals which had a lasting impact on them. They became independent resilient learners and gained confidence. Every day I learned something new from them. On the business side, I recognized and appreciated the fact that running a small business is like riding a roller coaster—full of exhilarating highs and stomach-dropping lows in what feels in a 24-hour job! Like other business owners, I reached to the challenges I faced, the lessons I learned, and the unexpected joys that came my way. Late nights spent on crunching numbers or the satisfying feeling of seeing my team’s hard work pay off, the "Eureka!" moments that changed the game for the business and more. I have experienced that coaching supports the growth and resilience of the business.
After selling my successful business, next for me was to explore coaching. I successfully completed the UBC (University of British Columbia) Organizational Coaching Program in May 2023. I had the privilege of working and being coached by many industry leaders as my educators and many talented professionals as my cohorts. This experience made me think further about my identity as an immigrant of over 25 years and further respect my core values. I learned to rely on my abilities and experiences and continue looking at different perspectives from a bird’s eye view and from the angle, that the client likes to see.
